Review on Graphtec Quanlity Cutting Plotter Holder by Trey Harvey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Terrible travel time.

First, it took an unrealistic amount of time to get to my mailbox. I ordered it on February 28th and received it on April 1st. The mount itself is a little tight for the Silhouette Cameo. Others say they work perfectly. At the moment I am afraid that the cameo blade holder clip will break. I have three of these for 30, 45, 60 degree blades. One of the three was very tight. The other two were fine, but I also ordered plotter blades with this order. Two different providers, one took 10 days, another took 11 days and this holder took 33 days. All three came directly from China. Not sure why this one from ETC took so long, but it got here on April Fool's Day. I tried it with a 45 degree blade and it worked fine. I watched a video on how to assemble the holder and blade. I had no problems assembling it except with a magnifying glass which is fine as my eyesight is not that good at my age. But beware: if you put the quill on the cutter I would suggest putting a white towel underneath because if you drop the quill on the floor you may never find it again. Again, if you watch the video you should have no trouble assembling the holder, spring and blade. To set the depth, do what the women said/showed in the video. Turn the adjustment knob so you can barely feel the blade. Then run the holder over a piece of vinyl and it should cut through the vinyl and make an indentation in the backing but not cut. This is the perfect setting. Enough said. Many Thanks.
