I bought these for my son as he likes to pretend to be adventurous and thought they were cheap enough but still not a toy for him. As soon as they arrived he kept asking who they were because I told him I had to look at them but to put my mind at ease a little the photo I took this while looking through binoculars was about 16 feet away from him. It's way better than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase, but I am even more happy that my little adventurer is in seventh heaven, that he has real binoculars and can see things from a very long distance. They're great for adults who want something lightweight that actually works as it's supposed to and won't break the bank.
