Review on Musical Fidelity V90 LPS Phono Preamp by Kenny Stephens

Better than most built in preamps but twice the price of another one that sounds even better and has more settings so I had to go back. I speak of Shiite Mani. I'm not claiming, in my opinion the V90-LPS lacks image, soundstage, mids and highs compared to Mani. It also makes a loud popping sound every time you flip the power button. The two things I liked the most about the V90-LPS were the derailleur and the amazingly professional look of the unit. I would have kept it, even for twice the price, if it had sounded that good - alas!
