"Spray" is a jet, not a mist, so there's nothing like spraying oil with your hands and passing it on to everyone . And holding it is like trying to snag a greased Missouri hog at an Independence Day carnival. I'm not Julia Childs in the kitchen, but I'm definitely experienced. I wouldn't use it if it was a free gift. (By the way, I bought a set for myself and other sets as gifts - embarrassing!) I wanted to avoid additives, propellants, GMOs, and wasteful containers with traditional food cooking sprays. I also wanted to avoid the mess and waste of a "light oil coat" by hand.
