Not all replacement parts will be perfect and not all will be exact replacement parts, but for the most part Dorman worked for me. I have many of their parts in my rebuilt '90 Chevy K2500 pickup and my '01 Grand Prix and it was perfect for what was missing from my car. The only alternative to the many Dorman-named parts I get is to drive 40 miles to the nearest junkyard and rent something, if I can even find it. I've had parts that failed and/or didn't fit properly, but I can't really fault something like that and it certainly isn't worth going to the junkyard for. This detached a small drop of oil on my car as the OEM part had a dry rotted gasket and was leaking to the point where tightening might have helped. A cheap part that fit perfectly and certainly wasn't worth what the auto parts dealers were asking for it. For less than $3, it was worth buying...and still a few dollars more than I paid.
