This would probably be a VERY powerful sleep aid if it weren't for an over-the-top ingredient - melatonin. I'm one of those people who gets palpitations when taking Nyquil or other PM cough medicines when I'm not feeling well (no, I don't take them anymore!). The reason I mention this is because this supplement reminds me of when I've taken those so-called "sleeping pills" in the past. It didn't make my heart beat faster, but it seemed to make my brain beat so I couldn't relax and sleep. Six days later my sleep score was below 70. For six days I took another 2mg melatonin supplement and my sleep score was consistently around 80. Thing is, there may be too much melatonin in here. There is a turning point. For some it is 5 mg and for others 10 mg. For me, a good medium is 5 mg. I should have found that out before trying this product, but I thought maybe some of the other ingredients would interact in a way that would take the edge off the melatonin. I thought wrong and had six restless nights to sleep on. Cut down on melatonin and you could end up with a great supplement.
