After doing some research I discovered that my Carrier whole house humidifier on my stovetop was actually designed and manufactured by Aprilaire, all in America. So these pads are obviously OEM parts and they fit and work perfectly in my rack. They are a fraction of the price Carrier tried to charge me for the same thing through my furnace supplier. SPECIAL NOTE: Don't forget to attach the lining with its color code above. If you look closely at the mesh design, you'll see that this step directs the dripping water back to the center of the mesh, preventing leakage. If you install it upside down, the water will be directed down the screen surface and will not get into the catch pan at the bottom.
