This review is for the Matrix Dark Envy Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask. Plus Redken Color Extend Brownlights Shampoo and Conditioner. Left to right: I dyed my hair on February 21st and it turned out copper and red. On August 21st I bought Redken Color Extend Brownlights Shampoo and Conditioner. Ryoken removed all orange tones from my hair, leaving red behind. Although I didn't mind what color I had left, the demarcation line was very noticeable. If you have a lot of orange tones, Redken Brownlights will soften them greatly. I highly recommend it! **** I am totally amazed at the results I have had with the Matrix Dark Envy system. Almost all of the remaining red color has been corrected. My hair is shiny, soft and dark after the first use. I look forward to continuing to use these products and watching all the red go away. There wasn't much "before and after" of the Matrix Dark Envy system. I hope my review will help you decide if this product is right for your hair. I love it! I have already recommended it to all my brunette friends! *****(Ps I haven't used any other hair products. I followed the package directions exactly, then dried them halfway with a hair dryer and then let them air dry completely. I didn't use hair straighteners or anything else Tools, except a hair dryer that I bought at a flea market.)
