Review on Honeywell POPUP2200 Inches Replacement Space Gard Filtration by David Golden

This is an Aprilaire 2200 filter replacement for a house I recently bought. The ventilation system is in the basement and when I pulled out the existing filter for the first time, it was clear that a replacement of the same size would not even fit through the inspection hatch. Admittedly, when I searched the internet for an OEM replacement, I was confused by all the references to plastic seals and things you need to adjust in an Aprilaire original plastic filter housing. So I got this Honeywell which went through the hatch due to its stacked nature and replaced the OEM plastic housing/filter with this exact Honeywell. Plugged it in and everything seems fine.
