I have bought three of these units. Two worked perfectly, and one lasted about a minute and died. I have applied for credit and will order a replacement. I love flashlights and use them on kids scooters and bikes for short night rides. They are very bright and last quite a long time with a small 3500mAh battery. I think I just have a faulty controller. I wish there was an on/off switch on the control box to turn the light off at the source. Instead, the only way to control it is with the remote control, which seems to be the norm for electronics by now. Regardless, I love the idea and the kids love it when their riding gear is lit up for all to see. Update: All three devices work great. The problem was a cheap battery that couldn't stand the current. The battery is listed as 3500mAh but I doubt its capacity is greater than 2000mAh. I connected the flashlights to 10000mah and they worked great.
