Good fit and protection. The fingertips are reinforced and the gloves have wrist protection on both the top and bottom. They keep you warm in cold weather. and it would be too hot to use in hot weather. My only criticism is that I wish the top wrist guard was removable. Depending on what I'm doing, I like extra protection. But sometimes I need to be able to bend my wrist more and want to be able to remove the top guard. This is my second pair. They are durable but get rough when your hands sweat profusely. I use them for mountainboarding and longboarding (instead of gliding gloves). I've also used them for snowboarding (with a waterproof case over them). The lower wrist guard is a nice sized plastic puck in the palm that can be used to slide off. You won't find better wrist protection. They are great for any sport where there is a risk of falling and breaking your wrists. The velcro around the wrist is nice and long for extra support, but the velcro on the back of the hand is too short for wider hands. They are near perfect.
