Review on 💧 APEC Water Systems CS 2500 Filtration Unit by Jeremy Choi

I wanted a filter that 1) had a "normal" flow rate and 2) was well made and could be relied on when I was away. This device meets these requirements and receives 5 stars. The only downside is that I couldn't find any evidence that their filter claims are backed by any standards organization. My tap water is safe and the problem is chlorine and taste - it's easy to tell it's working. However, if you have concerns about lead and the like, you may need to independently verify the filtration claims. This unit is easy to install - 15 minutes for DIYers, probably not much longer for those who have never done anything like this before. It comes with all necessary parts. The parts are well made - nice threaded metal fittings, not pressurized plastic fittings like some brands. The flow rate is perfect - I see no difference from before installation. Given the quality of the fittings I'm sure this will last and not leak. (Time will tell.) I wasn't specifically looking for this, but it's very nice and practical to use the same faucet. I understand that this is probably some waste in the sense that the filter is being used to wash hands, dishes etc, but from other reviews the filter will last quite a while so seems ok. I'm really happy with this filter and it's even better that it's an American company assembled in the USA. <sings> USA! UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
