Review on 🚗 AEM S.R.S. Mitsubishi Eclipse 3.0L V6, 2000-2005 by Ben Barrington

It came with great step by step installation instructions which were amazing. Everything you need is included, even new screws and an adapter for the air mass meter. It probably took about an hour to remove the standard filter and attach this one. The air intake doesn't really make a difference in sound until you hit it and your RPM hits 4k, and then you hear a more aggressive tone as more air is drawn in. No noticeable difference in performance (with stock headers, gearbox and exhaust. No tuning). But still it looks good. If you're looking for consumption, don't go cheap. Buy a reputable brand like AEM, HPS or Injen. My only complaint was having to put a clamp on the breather tube because it didn't fit the inlet nipple. It was too loose so I had to pinch it. I think another complaint would be the rubber boot on the MAF. It was very tight and I had a hard time putting it on. But it's installed, it sounds cool (at 3.5k) and no problems yet.
