Review on MICTUNING Backlit LED LIGHT BAR Symbol Push Button With Wiring Kit ON-OFF Switch Compatible With Toyota (Red by Jacob Morrison

I love the switch and appreciate that it comes with white lettering to match my Tacoma's stock switches. A little confused with the installation. I watched a few YouTube videos trying to figure out how to properly connect the switch to my new lightbar, but wasn't sure what to do. The light strip had a black, red, and yellow wire. This switch had black, green, and two red/orange wires. The connection between blacks and blacks was evident. It was clear that the red/orange wires were for the LED backlight. The wire closest to the black should have gone to the fuse box to connect to the light switch (I used the fuse in the tail light fuse). This connects red/orange to yellow and green to red. If I placed them wrong, the backlight and lightbar icon would illuminate when the key was off. Unfortunately I don't know much about wiring but I would suggest twisting the wires together and testing with the battery reconnected to confirm the wiring before soldering any connections. The button is great for the truck.
