It took me a bit to figure out what software to use to clone my smaller existing non-WD SSD, but I got lucky. Downloading software from WD allows cloning and resizing a new partition, but never tells you when the process is complete. So when you do the same, start the process and let the preclear work with it for a couple of hours.
