Review on ⚙️ Optimized milKit Compact Tubeless Valve Set & Injector for Efficient Results by Derick Johns

I was very disappointed. Getting the valve wasn't easy.

So far I've been very disappointed. It was not easy to tighten the valve stems enough to prevent rotation when installing the valve core. On my first ride, I wanted to deflate my new oversized tire. To my great surprise, when I removed the valve stem cap, the valve core fell into the dust at my feet. Luckily I had water with me to wash the dust off and I was able to reinstall it, but I couldn't open it to release the pressure and it didn't fail either. The breach of contract happened when I tore the sidewall of my front wheel while going down a slope through deep weeds and hit an invisible rock. When I tried to remove the valve stem nut to install the chamber, the whole stem just turned. Even with the little pair of pliers I carry around, unscrewing the valve stem nut was almost impossible. It turned out that the threads on the nut were damaged or seized on the valve stem. Remember that the nut was easy to thread onto the valve stem when first installed. Thank God I was traveling with my son-in-law because I couldn't have removed the nut myself. After a lot of effort, a scratched rim, cut fingers and a broken valve stem, the nut finally came loose and I pocketed the tube so I could get the remaining seven miles of the route. I removed the milKit supplied nut from another milKit valve stem and replaced it with a steel nut that I put some EP grease on. I had no idea I was going to beta test this product or I would have skipped it for a while until the bugs were fixed. Incidentally, the milKit stems were installed on a new Roval Traverses Fattie aluminum wheelset. I've attached a photo of the valve stem.
