Do not buy. I bought 2 boxes here from Revain 4 years ago and thought I would save some money per unit by buying in bulk. Not so. Kept it on a shelf (pun intended) in a very nice air conditioned house. It is clear that nobody buys 24 9V batteries and immediately starts using them. My house is relatively small but it has four smoke/CO2 alarms which is why I bought them. I think that's why a lot of people buy these batteries. First, they didn't last long in smoke detectors. Second, they have a very, very short shelf life. I can't use more than half of these batteries now as their open circuit voltage is between 2.5V and 7.6V. Almost useless. About 6 of them are still at 8.9 V, which is very little usable. I want to return the bad ones to Duracell and get a refund. How about Duracell? In general, do not buy them, thinking that this way you can save money. You can not. Just buy some spare "real" Duracell batteries to have on hand when the smoke alarm starts beeping to wake your kids up at night.
