I had a hell of a time to remove the original steering wheel from a 1956 Massey Harris 50 tractor. I've tried using borrowed 3-leg pullers but couldn't get them to work. I finally bought a Shankly gear puller set and it worked great. Easy setup and usability. I was so happy when the steering wheel fell off. Also, you should know that I used a percussion gun instead of a hand wrench. The shaft puller set includes several long bolts and two different center pieces for different applications. It looks and feels very well made.
