Review on ๐Ÿšด Wespornow Men's Mountain Bike Shorts: Padded Cycling Shorts with Zipper Pockets - Perfect MTB Riding Gear! by Michael Baird

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great value for money, good design, earplugs OK

Over the years I've had dozens of riding shorts in this style (loose over soft lining) from Fox, Specialized, Zoic, Patagonia, Pearl Izumi, Troy Lee, Rick Garden and more. These shorts performed well, enduring about 60 rides and almost as many wash/air dry cycles. The exterior is very stretchy and soft to the touch, widely adjustable, with plenty of pockets for small items, bars, and even my giant iPhone 11 max in the OtterBox. Can't comment on the shock/abrasion resistance as I haven't smashed them yet but I have a feeling they will tear fairly easily as they are so thin. Got a rating of a few stars mainly because of the liner. The lining is too wide in both directions. I have a 125mm seat width and ride in a 143mm saddle (so basically "big") and the padding is a few inches wider. It also reaches my tailbone at the back and past my testicles at the front. Unusable and not as comfortable as it could be. Otherwise it fits my size and is made of compatible material with shorts (doesn't stick together). In general I recommend.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Not bad
