Good idea. Bad design.
I loved the idea of this design. It seemed better than the fabric drying mats.always wet and need to be dried. However, this mat lays so flat that it gets almost filled with water and needs to be shaken off into the sink. The dishes are essentially sitting in water! If it was just elevated at the back end just a little, it would drain. I'm still using it, since I haven't found one that will self-drain.
