My parents' marker is less than 10 years old and has started to deteriorate and become very dull. The bronze is green in places. I did some research online and watched videos on U-Tube where a gentleman showed me how to clean a marker and recommended this product. I did my research and read the reviews before purchasing as I have to say I was very nervous that something could go wrong. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it works. However, I recommend buying two sets plus extra brushes/sponges and old crevice toothbrushes. The included sponges fall apart very quickly. Oh, and prepare to put a lot of effort into cleaning, as cleaning is required. I plan on buying another set and applying again in the spring to see how much better it gets. I post photos a year apart. The first in December 2017 and the second in December last year after applying the cleaner. In general I am very satisfied.
