This valve is well built and reliable. There is no water leaking from the valve stem or anywhere else. The lever moves smoothly and is easy to adjust to the desired flow rate. When installed, it's easy to save water by reducing flow when applying shampoo or soap. I like to turn the flow up a little to rinse, or turn it up to full volume when I'm running the shower and waiting for hot water to flow through the pipes from the basement. Depending on who is allowed to use the shower, there is a function. to know this valve. This allows you to completely block the flow. When I do this in my shower, hot water goes back into the cold water line. When the water is turned back on, it comes out completely hot until cold water reaches the valves. Therefore, I avoid stopping the flow of water completely. If everyone who takes a shower pays attention or if your hot water doesn't scald, then everything is fine. If there is a risk of accidentally scalding someone, you should lower the temperature of the hot water and/or find a valve that doesn't completely shut off the flow.
