Review on Genuine Toyota 81107-30D31 Headlamp Control Module: Reliable and Authentic Quality by Jason Martinez

After learning that many Toyota Prius owners were having problems with their HID headlights and ended up replacing the ballast to fix the problem, I called the dealer to order purchase the required part number. I ordered this for my 2007 Prius and following the advice of other mechanics I had it installed in about an hour. I could have just cut the wire off the old plug, but on the advice of another reviewer, I practiced unplugging the large end of the plug from the old ballast to remove it from the headlamp assembly. This allowed me to know how much bending and pushing to route the cable back through the assembly without damaging the new component. It's been a month now and my headlight is still working great.
