Review on Pentek S1 20BB Pleated Cellulose Cartridge by John Floyd
NOT only for chlorinated well water.
Product may be OK IF using chlorinated water but not recommended for well water. I could can't find it in the description to use it for chlorinated water only. I emailed PENTAIR and this was their response. the cellulose is treated as a nutrient. This causes the filter to break down and things to grow. Choose better a filter made of a more inert material such as polyester or polypropylene.
- FITS ALL 20" Big Blue housings and can replace any 20" x 4.5" sediment filter
