Review on πŸ”’ Enhanced Stability with BAL 23216 Lock-Arm Stabilizing Bar by Robert Dickinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to fit into sockets

Comes with all small parts as promised. Easy to install, one pair took less than 15 minutes. I ended up buying 3 pairs because I wanted my trailer to barely move while camping. For the past year I've been using stabilizers I made myself from 2x4s that work great and only cost me $25 to build. However, they are not adjustable as the trailer was often lowered too low or too high off the ground to secure the wooden stabilizers. As cheap as they were, it was the extra weight and storage space. Also, installation was an added hassle that I don't need anymore ;) I've used ball locks and they're great! I just put the stop bars in the bolt and that's it. So easy and worth every penny for me even if they are a bit more expensive when buying 3 sets. I installed 2 sets on the front of the trailer and 1 set on the back. It really blocks. I've heard some complaints from people about the screws loosening after a few days of use. This hasn't happened to me yet, but I've seen it because the screw on the inner tube is just tightened. Since it doesn't screw into anything, it's possible the screw might come loose, but so far so good! I recommend this product and definitely cheaper than another well-known brand. It's also a plus that you don't have to buy all three sets if you want to spend less compared to another brand. It costs over $200, but you get all three sets whether you want it or not. I would also say that 2 sets is probably good enough to save some money.
