Review on Boulder Tools Deflators Pressure Gauge by Justin Malkowski

Four and a half stars. I used them on three trucks last weekend. The deflators are solidly built and work well. I set it to 16psi per the instructions prior to our trip and used it as soon as we got to camp. Accuracy was close but not perfect. A truck (with 35) put out 18-19psi and trucks with smaller tires put out 15-17psi. I used the same manometer for all checks. I don't know why the larger tires would be different if the amount of heat in the tires had nothing to do with it. I also compared the pressure gauge that came with it to a very good pressure gauge I have and they were within a pound of each other. I've considered installing deflators and riding with them while they deflate like others have said, but they are solid brass and have some weight and I didn't want to risk damaging the valve stem from the deflator bouncing to damage. around it. That saved us a lot of lap time with the sensor.
