Buy it. suitable for tools and equipment

Four and a half stars. I used them on three trucks last weekend. The deflators are solidly built and work well. I set it to 16psi per the instructions prior to our trip and used it as soon as we got to camp. Accuracy was close but not perfect. A truck (with 35) put out 18-19psi and trucks with smaller tires put out 15-17psi. I used the same manometer for all checks. I don't know why the larger tires would be different if the amount of heat in the tires had nothing to do with it. I also compared

My first review was negative, 1 star. They don't work the way many think. I drilled 2/4 holes under the valve stem to double the factory diameter. Then I drilled holes that let air out from the side, too big. This half solved accuracy problems. removing all rubber pads rendered it fully usable with reproducible accuracy. I also have a Currie valve stem drainer which I like, but now I can deflate all 4 tires about as quickly as two tires with a Currie puller. I wish I could read the steps I took

Cons
  • Some disadvantages

These deflators do their job very well. The main thing is to set them up correctly in advance. Deflators take about 10 minutes to stop deflating, but they travel 90% of the way in 5 minutes. One of mine had a damaged o-ring, I decided to see how easy it would be to take it apart since you don't have many options on the trail. They're really easy to take apart and you can get replacement springs and seals from Home Depot, I have spares now in case one of them breaks. The trick is to follow the…

I received the kit within 2 days. I immediately received an email from the company asking if I received it and if I have any questions - great customer service. High quality deflators and easy to set up. I mounted them all in less time than it took me to blow out a tire! I won't be able to use it until next week, but installation was easy. I've seen a lot of complaints about it, but I don't think I found it that bad, and they provided a simple guide on how to get the snapshots to work. I…

Spend your money and get quality deflators. Not this one.

Terrible. I used to have Staun tire deflators. Unfortunately I lost her. I opted for the cheaper option. These boulder deflaters appear to be exact replicas of the higher quality deflaters. They look the same, but they are far from it. This is one of those products that you really get what you pay for. They do not support the correct PSI. They also take forever to reach the desired PSI. When you get to the 5-8psi you set it will slow down a lot. For example, take another 5 minutes to actually…

Works after a few adjustments

I like products that are well made and don't cause me any problems. I tend to buy big brands or pay extra for premium products, so I've been very wary of buying an industry standard instead (amaze) that's over three times the price. I took the risk and so far I think it was worth the risk. I haven't owned them for a long time, so I can't comment on durability or functionality. I only bought it for a tire deflator and for that I give 5 stars, the gauge is cheap but read the same pressure as my…

They work, just read the guide

I tend to buy premium when it comes to survival features so I was very cautious when buying these in US dollars instead of the standard (stash) price . I believe Stone did the design and the price has come down. I've only had them for a few months so can't speak to durability but I've used them 4 times. The tire deflators get 5 stars, the gauge is cheap, bulky but fits my good Accutire digital gauge, the box is pretty cheap and bulky so I just keep the deflators in their cute little compact…

REVIEW UPDATED 16/12/19

I'm a smart guy but this doesn't work. I ordered them in July and tried them twice with the same negative results. Now my return window is closed. I run my tires at 80psi with my Lance Camper and deflate the tires to 55psi without it. I followed the instructions to set the valves and they either deflated very slowly and stopped at the desired psi or kept releasing air until I unscrewed them. I would like to return them, but I may be unlucky. **UPDATE** I received an email and a new set of tire…
