Trying to switch from cotton socks in summer was harder than I thought. I have found other low cut wool socks that are perfect for spring/fall but too thick for summer. These socks are just what I needed to fill that summer void. They're thin enough to keep my feet from getting burned and they protect my foot from the swamp when I'm working outside and sweating. I'm more of a men's shoe size 9-9.5 and have tried both medium and large sizes. Both fit well, but the large one is definitely better for everyday wear.
