Review on 🔧 Enhanced Magnetic Platform for Sovol 3D Printer: Upgraded Efficiency and Precision by Douglas Davis

Plates received in plain packaging in the box with nothing written other than the Revain packing list. So I watched the installation video on the product page and it was easy to install. After dozens of failed prints and a few horrible moments of my mono making horrible grinding noises when aligning, I realized that you need to print a shim to add to your machine before mounting it on the build plate. They could have included a super cheap piece of paper stating this and directing people to their website for a free download prior to installation, or even put that in the Revain description next to the "you may need a gasket" hidden in the text. I've been lucky. I didn't break my new printer. I tore off the magnet, cleaned everything thoroughly and aligned it for the 20th time that day, printed out the spacer and after much deliberation reinstalled the second magnet. Unfortunately, the second time isn't as perfectly aligned as the first. However, it gets 4 stars because it works great now. I'm glad I bought it and I'm glad there were two, otherwise this rating would have been MUCH lower. I just wish they provided better instructions with the product.
