Definitely raised in the back

I read the reviews here before buying so I saw the reviews that the back is raised. I assumed this to be the normal level that I have seen on many life jackets. However, it was MUCH more than usual. I assume it's due to the large hand holes with no strap going all the way around (just clips on the front). It still "worked" and you're okay with that because we rarely need to use it (Luke twice a year) but we wouldn't keep it if we needed to use it regularly.
