Great tool! Whether you're a hobbyist, mechanic, or handyman, these pliers are a great addition to your tool arsenal. Manufactured to a high quality with typical Japanese craftsmanship. The hardness of the steel is just right for the job at hand, but not so hard that it becomes brittle and the cutting edge and teeth/claws chip. This tool is great and should work fine for most jobs. For this type of tool, it's probably better to have a larger tool than one that's too small and fragile to work with. The cutter is excellent, no gaps in alignment. Note that there are handy serrations on the back of the pivot that are great for pulling and pulling wires. The only thing I don't like is the recycled plastic handles - too many right angles and decorative flourishes. This reduces the functionality of the handles and makes them less comfortable than they should be. Overall it's still a great tool - highly recommend!
