Review on 🐱 BOS Amazing Odor Sealing Cat Waste Disposal Bags - Durable and Unscented (90 Bags) [Size: Medium, Color: Light Blue] by Susanberry Berg

They work, but how much better than dog poop bags depends on your needs.

Bought these medium size after they kept popping up in my recommendations. I usually only use dog litter bags, but I couldn't help but try these as well. I have 3 cats, 2 litters and I brush them 1-2 times a day depending on my schedule. I throw my bags in my kitchen trash can with a lid and take the trash to the trash can every 2 days (adapted housing). In a year with 1 cat and now 3 months with 3 cats I have never noticed a stray smell. Break out of poop bags into the trash can. Even when they were at the top and I pushed the pedal to throw something else out I always smelled some kind of food odor, cat food can be smelly but never contaminates the litter. This applies whether I use Clump & Seal or Okocat pellets. The same goes for these BOS bags, they don't escape the smell of the rubbish and therefore work just like traditional poop bags. For me they have an advantage in size, especially in width. My large metal scoop is easier to get in and out of BOS bags than poop bags. They're also a bit thicker than most dog poop bags, so there's less chance of you accidentally tearing them up. Although they are large and work well, I will not order them again. The price is too high to justify these packs compared to discount store poop packs (TJMaxx, Housewares, etc); That's usually 120 packs for $5.99. For my needs, the additional odor sealing is negligible. If you keep a few bags of kitty litter separate from your trash, they're definitely better than any grocery bag, and probably better than poop bags in the long run.

Pros
  • βœ” A safer and more hygienic way to dispose of pet poo, cat litter or other smelly things. Not only does it seal in EVERY odor (not just limited to pet poo), it even seals in bacteria!
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
