Lots of plumbing done to house including new shower control valves. Little did we know that the new single lever valves do not control pressure or volume. We have a well and septic tank and are very careful with the water, but with the new mixing valves we couldn't control the amount. This little device does it for us. Sometimes, like after a hard workout, it's nice to just stand still and let the water flow LIGHTLY through your body. If desired, you can reduce the flow to zero. As mentioned in my title, the valve noticeably reduces flow overall, probably due to the small orifice in the ball valve. If you enjoy being splashed with water, you probably do NOT want to use this device.
