Review on πŸ›Ά SportRack SR5511 'J' Stacking Kayak Carrier: Convenient and Sleek Black Design by Jerry Frey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It took a few tries to get them in the car and tying them down was easy but once we developed the system

I've just used 2 sets of these tote bags to make a family trip of around 6 hours to make home. It took a few tries before getting her in the car and tying her up was easy, but once we developed the system getting her up and down was a breeze - our teens could help. Helpful too - we bought a small collapsible step stool to keep in the car so we can get to the top of the beam brace. On the road, the kayaks were very stable, even at 65 mph. We used elastic cords front and rear for extra support on the freeway, but they weren't needed when cruising local roads at 45 mph. We left luggage racks on the roof of the car throughout the trip.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best
