I live in the country and have a few trailers that I need to move. One is my boat and the other is a cargo trailer. I park them on solid ground next to a paved road and it helps to be able to maneuver the trailers into position so I can reverse them. This AlphaWorks trailer does the job perfectly! Overall, it moves trailers up to 3600 pounds with a maximum tongue weight of 600 pounds. Both my boat trailer and utility trailer fit under it so I can move them with ease. Love the easy to use handle and solid tires that can handle gravel. There are 2 main wheels and a third for steering and stability. We have cacti here so I think over time I'll upgrade to flat free tires. The trolley is powered by 2 x 12V batteries in a waterproof snap-on case. They are rechargeable. The trailer ball is a 2 inch standard on many trailers that fit my two. You can always change it to a different size as long as it has a 1" stem. As always, make sure to record it in your trailer language! You don't want it popping out while driving. assembly required. Some took about 30 minutes to assemble it. It took almost an hour, but then I checked everything again on the way. I used a set of sockets and an adjustable wrench. A few assembly tips. You need to route the control cables from the handle through the quill and into the battery case from the bottom. There are 2 wires here, not 1, and both must go through. Although there are holes on the sides and bottom of the bottom handle for easier cable routing, I found it easier to take a thin piece of flexible wire, wrap a few wraps around the ends of the cables, and route another. Feed the end down through the speaker and up into the battery case and feed the wires through. The connector ends look complicated but are all different and match their counterparts in the wire harness on the lower right side of the case. There are 3 plastic plugs in the instruction bag to cover the access holes in the handlebar after the wires have been threaded through. You will need a Β½ inch socket for most nuts and bolts in the handle and a 3/4 inch socket for the main wheel nuts. This takes some practice to get used to and since you will be moving heavy equipment, take your time. There is no brake on the device, so use the throttle and reverse forward to steer it. This makes moving the trailer much easier than my old hand truck! It costs money.
