Review on 💓 Mio Slice Heart-Rate-Monitors: Sienna, Small - Enhance Fitness Monitoring with Precision by Chun Hee Kim ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It's not a good product, it's a pity that I spent money on it.

My first fitness bracelet Mio Slice was a complete disappointment. Initially, it worked flawlessly until it hung for the first time when ating the firmware (stupidly because the smartphone’s screen turned off and it went into standby mode), it’s clear that the ate takes place via bluetooth, but somehow it was possible to secure this at least on software smartphone app level. The pulse measures clearly (this is perhaps the only plus). There is no autonomy of work - 2-3 days. The screen, of course, was scratched: just touched the wall with your hand and you're done. After 4 months of use, I temporarily (2 months) stopped using the heart rate monitor, after which I could no longer charge it. And all this for almost 9000. As a result, the bracelet was taken for repair and after 45 days of diagnostics, a refund was approved.

Pros
  • 1. The accuracy of the heart rate monitor. 2. PAI system. 3. Design.
Cons
  • 1. After six months, it stopped charging. 2. Constantly "falls off" from the smartphone (when it is out of the bluetooth range) and then connects for a long time (sometimes it even requires a reboot of the smartphone). 3. "Raw" application with disgusting optimization and constant data exchange via the Internet. 4. Poor work with the Runtastic application: at one point (after ating Runtastic or after ating Mio software) it stopped being detected, while Runtastic closed spontaneously with an error. 5. The declared time of work does not correspond - in fact 2, maximum 3 days. 6. No smart alarm. 7. Scratching body (simple plastic) - it is simply impossible not to scratch. 8. Price.
