Doesn't hold water.
I am dissatisfied with this product because it is not water resistant. It is advertised as a dish with either food or water. I got it as a water bowl for my frog to soak in. The water disappears within an hour or so. I had to replace the substrate a few days after refilling as it was leaking so badly that the substrate became a swamp. Not sure why it's leaking, there are no visible holes. It's just not tight or anything. Very disappointed.
