I had gingivitis in my wisdom tooth lobes, couldn't make an appointment with the dentist on time, so this was my last resort. This irrigator changed my life and my hygiene. On first use it started getting rid of my gingivitis, as I used it pus started pouring out of my mouth along with bits of food stuck in my gums. It was instant relief for me even though my gums were sore and swollen. I used it for the next 3 days and by day 4 the infection was gone. There was no swelling or pus and I could chew well. I also find that I feel like brushing my teeth more, I used to brush/floss twice a day but now I brush after almost every meal because I love the feel of my mouth. My gums and teeth have never felt so clean except after a visit to the dentist. I also like how the cog says on the timer, it took me a second to figure out what it was. But it stops for a second after you've brushed every fourth part of your mouth, and once you've brushed each section, the toothbrush turns itself off to let you know you're done. So you no longer have to worry about whether you have cleaned sufficiently or not. I also read in other reviews that people had problems with toothbrushes dying from them because they were overpriced. Be sure to read the instructions, charge it once for the first time within 24 hours, and then after charging when it reaches 1/3 of the battery. So I keep it in the handy little pouch that comes with it. I would and will definitely buy again in the future.
