Review on Motorcraft SW5219 Light Switch Assembly by Aaron Jones

This part solved my problem of being unable to get the transmission out of park with the engine running. Installation was a little tricky; However, I was able to complete the installation in about 5 minutes. The spring clip must be removed from the left side of the mounting stud (except when installing a new switch) before you can position the switch for removal. It requires a bit of wiggling, twisting, and "gentle" watching. The original Motorcraft switch lasted 22 years; So it wasn't hard to choose an OEM Motorcraft over a Chinese part that was less than $20 cheaper.
