Don't expect metal cutting blades to work in a DeWalt cordless jigsaw.

I bought this item to use on my new DeWalt cordless saw. Longer blades for cutting wood work well. Shorter saw blades for cutting metal will not stay in the saw. As soon as significant forward or sideways force is applied while inserting the saw into the metal, the blade will pop out. As a result, metal cutting blades are useless.
