I used these bandages to close the incision (about 7 inches) and braces after a hip replacement. They arrived quickly, but I was a bit concerned when the packaging only contained Chinese characters. But I needed bandages so I used them and hoped for the best. You have done a great job. The adhesive worked well when I applied the dressing and was very easy to remove when it came time to change the dressing. There were no stains or irritation from the adhesive. I wore each bandage for 2 days before changing it and used a total of 3 from the pack I bought. There are no complaints at all. I didn't shower with a bandage so can't comment on waterproofing. However, the bandage was pretty good in there, so I think he could cope with the shower if needed.
