First off, they look really cool. After an EXTREMELY painful install, I'm mostly enjoying the rear seats. .1) The short shift rod was completely unusable 2) The long shift rod had to be shortened with an angle grinder to get a better shift pedal height adjustment. 3) Installation notes say "use threadlocker for everything". However, if you ever crash into them and its thread gets blocked by the red locker - - you will NEVER take them off. The thread lock actually melts the aluminum and bonds to the threads. So. Don't do that. (This came from my chief mechanic who has been racing sport bikes for over 20 years) 4) The brake side was a complete disaster. My 2014 ZX6R - 636 (ABS) has a HARDLINE that is more than 2 inches from where those rear seats would hold the brake line. . Meaning. We had to flex and PULL the hard cable to install it. I may have 1mm clearance from brake lever to exhaust when pressed. 6) Due to the distance from the Arashi rear brake pads to the brake line, the OEM brake line hose was unusable and we had to find a longer replacement hose. THANK YOU, my mechanic is really good, he said if I put it in a regular shop they would send me out because it would be too much crap. That means they had to do it under the table for grip reasons and reconfigure the brake lines/hard lines to the ABS sensors. In the end everything was assembled and fitted but I would like to point out that it took 3 hours of hard work and an angle grinder to get everything fitted properly. For the price they look pretty cool but install wisely - I don't recommend them if you are new and have an ABS system. If you have the money for a Vortex or DrivenRacing kit. If not, prepare for hard work. 7) FINALLY - There are (ZERO) instructions for installing these. . . Literally a bag of mostly assembled parts and good luck Joe. I quote my mechanic "It sucks how you have to do this without the right tools, I literally had to pull out 9 different tools to put it together properly" which ended up really being surrounded by a lot of manual work --- My final treat is those Hardware that comes with the rear seats, made of thin and soft metal, if you overtighten them you'll tear them off.
