Product received today. According to the product image, the company name and stitch size are engraved. Mine wasn't poisoned. This is currently the only stitch size I have and shouldn't pose a problem. The company only had one size available for Revain. The blades are diamond shaped and set to make a small diagonal stab instead of a straight stab. This is a feature I saw in a leatherworking video and didn't know what to expect. It is made of tool steel and protected with grease. Most videos say such tools may need sharpening. I could punch holes in a piece of leather in 4 hits with a light hammer. The yellow spacer was not damaged in transit and is smaller than expected, approximately 2"x 2". I ordered a 4x4 metal ink pad and this may be the cause of this confusion. As a starter kit for learning, I think it's ok until I learn differently. The only thing that bothered me about this purchase was the lack of a size stamp.
