Review on Bull Ring Raised Fit Retractable Truck Tie-Down Anchors for F150, Super Duty, Silverado, Sierra, RAM by John Rivera

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bottom line, they are easy to assemble, fit great and look very, very good.

I'm a manly man with a manly truck and I don't need to read instructions to do anything. I received the Bull Ring 4001-XT for my 2007 F150 and was dying to fit it. I spent over ten minutes adjusting the screws to install the first one. I was afraid of loosening the screws too much and dropping the base into the post hole. Needless to say, I could never get the top and bottom wide enough to tip into the hole. Then I found that even with both screws, accidentally separating the upper part from the lower part and loose parts through the retaining bar was not possible. When both screws were removed, the device tilted slightly and the mounting screws mounted easily. The device was installed within two minutes and the other three were installed in less than five minutes. Lesson learned, at least look at the instructions. Oh yeah, in the first picture in the instructions the screws are completely removed so you can tip the block into the holes. This makes them easy to assemble (follow the instructions), fit perfectly and look very, very good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled
