I hope this review helps you with your purchase. I always rely on them before I buy. I bought these to use in a float tube for fishing. They were bigger than I expected but I decided to give it a try. I'm 65 years old and my little bird's feet resisted it at first. But they turned out great. I can wear them over waders or small tennis shoes. And these things really encourage. My wife took me a mile up the river and let me out. I had to walk that mile and then another half mile upwind to get back to our camp. I have a sore knee and was very worried about how I would feel the next day. I cannot describe the excitement I experienced the next morning. My calves hurt a little from not moving enough. And I felt tension in my thighs. And above all, I felt a certain tension in my stomach. You may not like how this all sounds, but for me it was heaven. I'm a doctor and I don't do much sport. I can't walk because of my knee. They didn't put any weight on my knee at all. I found a way to work my calves, hamstrings and abs while enjoying rowing and fishing on the lake. Good product.
