UPDATE AFTER 30 DAYS OF USE:⁰While I am okay with the quality:cost of this vacuum, I must admit that I expected more power and a longer lasting battery. I have 2 cats and a daughter that sheds a lot of hair and this vacuum does not seem to have the oomph to pick it up. Our carpet is a medium pile which this vacuum struggles to reach the bottom of. Our home is a relatively small 2 bedroom apartment. I must split my daily vacuuming into two , sometimes three shifts as the battery is dead in about fifteen minutes on high power. Even with a second battery I don't think I would be able to vacuum my entire house in one session.I am a long-time Dyson owner and, perhaps, I am spoiled by that level of suction.There is also the frequent and redundant maintenance of the filters and head cleaning that make the use of this unit unfeasible (after every use-2X day for me) in my household.If I could afford a second vacuum then this one would be a definite contender. However, my budget demands the purchase of only one. So.back to the drawing board for me.Also,this vac motor has a highly pitched running tone that has increased in volume since Day #1.
