Works well. suitable for filtering and softening water
I use one for my ice machine line and the other for my second kitchen faucet. I have decent water to start with, but these devices refresh it well. I don't have any flow issues, but my incoming water is almost free of sediment. Easy to install, inexpensive, easy to replace, decent quality. I haven't tested them on rougher water. I suspect that a pre-filter should be used in such cases.
