I purchased this Block solely on the basis of its low cost. Bought for a 2012 Nissan Frontier. It was a direct replacement and was easy to install due to the location of the sensor. I bought this to see if it would fix another problem I was having with my truck. I have never received any trouble codes or performance issues due to the original OEM MAF sensor. I removed the original mass air flow sensor a few months ago and after putting it back on I had another problem with my truck. Nothing about this issue made sense that the problem was in the MAF, but after researching other possible causes I decided to replace the MAF as a kind of kick in the blue. I bought it because I figured there wouldn't be a big loss if I spent about $20 if it didn't solve any other problem. When this MAF arrived I installed it and drove the truck for 5 days. On Day 5 and less than 200 miles later, the truck began to sway, ran rough and would not accelerate to freeway speeds. No lights or gauges came on, but I plugged in my scanner and it read a code that indicated the MAF was not working. I still have the original MAF so I put it back in, cleared the code and all is good. If you know you need this Nissan/Infiniti MAF for your car, spend more money and get a better quality sensor.
