I bought these to protect against vandals. I hung two of these, one on each side of problem areas outside of my home. They're not as big as I thought, which is good. They're pretty loud. Only thing is the remotes would be better if you could turn off the alarm if you accidentally set it off. They're in front of my house so I can see them turn on when we leave for work early in the morning before sunrise. If the remotes could turn off the alarm without changing modes, that would be great. I hope they won't be a problem for the neighbors. Update: We've had them for about a month now. They're pretty sketchy, sometimes you can walk past and they'll explode, and sometimes you can stand in front and jump and get nothing. The range of the sensors is not large enough for my taste. I had a remote control with me. I bought 2 of these sensors and one of the remotes stopped working. I'm not sure if it's the battery or not. One of the alarm clocks has a broken remote control. Update again: One of these alerts has stopped working. Very disappointed with it.
