I got a great deal on an old Intel NUC that didn't have built-in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. I was looking for something that is both small and fulfills both requirements in one device. I bought it to solve this problem. Installation was straightforward and easy. Install the drivers before plugging in the dongle for the first time and everything worked as soon as I plugged it in. So far it works perfectly for me. I'm deducting a star because the drivers that came with it were on a mini-disc that had to be copied to a USB stick for installation. The driver version included was from 2015. I went to the Realtek website and installed the latest version of "Realtek Wireless LAN Utility" which changed the signal strength and connection quality slightly on the chart. I opened device manager and found my bluetooth and wifi devices, right clicked and said to manually update latest drivers from web. Both have found and updated newer versions. After a manual upgrade my signal strength went from 80% to 100% blocked and my signal quality went from a fluctuating 50-60% to 99-100% after doing this simple upgrade. I haven't run any speed tests before or since to see what's changed in this area. I ran it for three days and so far it has worked flawlessly when connected to my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
